Do Not Drink … Gamble!

If you enjoy a beer ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might experience a profit after a drunken evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.

Keeping your moolah at home might be a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is required. If you play to win, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to toss away your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratis alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunken head throws away everything!

Permit me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condo, but because I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink and gamble.

How come? Although I do not drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. The two mix up for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
